NETCO is a School Food Service Cooperative in Northeast Tennessee. The cooperative is comprised of fourteen individual school systems serving an average of 50,000 students per day with an annual food budget of over six million dollars. NETCO, formed in 1997, includes the school systems of Bristol City,Carter County, Cocke County, Grainger County , Greeneville City, Hamblen County,Hawkins County, Jefferson County, Johnson City,Johnson County Newport City, Rogersville City, Sullivan County and Unicoi County.
NETCO is now bidding high volume food and non-food items for the 2017-18 school year with a provision for contract renewal for the 2018-19 school year. Once awarded, the products will be purchased for NETCO and paid for by the NETCO Service Provider, Gordon Food Service, Lithia Springs, GA. Bids must be received no later than 9am (Eastern Daylight Time), Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Late responses will not be opened or evaluated.
